Chunky Bling Swarovski Ring Review and Giveaway

I got a Swarovski crystal ring in Scarlet from Chunky Bling for review this week and I am so excited to share it with you ladies! I've worn it several times this week so I had enough time try and test it to provide a feedback for this product.

The ring is handcrafted and made of silver plated beads, rhinestones and Swarovski crystals.

Pros
- The Swarovski ring is made of stretchable cord which makes it flexible and comfortable to wear. It can fit up to two sizes. Since this is made of a durable stretch cord this have a tendency to get a little loose over time so I suggest that you get one size lower than your actual ring size.
- The design is very simple yet classy making it easy to wear with. I like it specially when going out at night since the effect of light hitting it is so pretty. Normally I get compliments from other women about something I wear but this ring also got attention from men. :)
- The ring is only $12.95 so it gives you a cheaper alternative to owning your very own Swarovski jewelry. Normally Swarovski rings cost about $90 and above so you get an elegant looking jewelry for a very low price.
- This ring comes in a variety of colors and styles.
- The Swarovski in the ring makes it look very elegant since the brand is considered as the highest quality crystal in the world so you get the brilliance and sparkle of a genuine Swarovski jewelry.

Cons
- The stretchable cord may loosen over time. It is very durable but the wear and tear could make this unwearable over time. I've had jewelries with the same type of durable cord and it lasted for years so for the price, it is still worth it :)
- They only have one design available for now. I think, aside from an option between different colors of either crystals or pearls,  it would be great for them to have other designs available to choose from in the future.
- If you are acidic, the silver beads have tendency to tarnish so put a little extra care on the ring. It doesn't concern me much since the attention is often directed to the crystals.

The rings are available at www. chunkybling.com :) The site also allows you host an online jewelry party giving you opportunity to get FREE chunky jewelry

Coupon Code
For a limited time, you can purchase any of their watch sets for only $24.95 if you use the coupon code MIYO193. These watch sets are priced from $32-65 so the coupon code gives you a really great deal. The code will only be available from October 22-November 12, 2011.

Hot Finds for Fall

So the temperature is going down which tells me it's time to shop for fall :D Apparently it isn't as easy as I thought since I found these great stuff which, if I buy all of them I would be broke for another month. *sigh* So damn hard to be a girl, would you agree?

So here are some of the great stuff I found online which you might also find interesting and probably would consider buying. :)

Shoes - I am a big sucker for shoes.. I rather go out on a tacky dress, messy hair and no makeup as long as I am wearing bad ass shoes nobody can ever find :D So here are my top picks for fall.

Ratkovich - These 5-inch heel booties are on clearance in ALDO which is now only $60 (from original price of $120). What I like about this is its unique style. Also available in dark brown but I feel that black gives more classy look. I see myself wearing this with a pencil cut skirt or skinny jeans.

Hoganson - The faux-fur on these glamorous high heel booties really caught my attention. I honestly don't know why I like these so much but there is just something about its design that makes me want to wear it. It is a new Aldo collection sold for $100.

Make-up - I honestly thought that coming to US would make me splurge on makeup. WRONG! For some reason I never got too excited about seeing so many products to choose from. It's either I got so overwhelmed or just figured out what I need and not. However when I saw the new Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV, I can never resist a limited edition makeup right?

The new BOS IV is the first to have a portable speaker with it and how to videos that you can view from your phone. How cool is that? :D On top of the lovely packaging, it includes 16 shadows, waterproof liquid eyeliner, eye primer potion, and a travel size mascara.

Another limited edition from Urban Decay that I have been eyeing was the limited edition lipstick cap which is sold for 15 dollars and comes for free if you buy a lipstick. So I found this really nice shade of lipstick that would look really great to complete your fall look. The Jailbait has a nude shade which gives you natural look without the dullness. Fall is about looking flawless and natural. :)

Lingerie - Lately I have been obsessed with the Victoria Secret collection hahaha. OK don't ask me why I just feel that you have to look good inside and out, and that includes a great pair of underwear :D They released a new collection, Unforgettable.

The cheekinies are sold for $11.50 to $12.50 but you can get them for 3 for $30. These have a very feminine feel and I think that anyone wearing this would feel very sexy :) These come with a matching demi brassiere which is sold for $45-$55.
This particular print is my favorite. I prefer wearing nude colors since nudes are great to wear with white and light colored fabric. Not sure if you can see the details but this specific design have small beads so I find it unusual.. and anything unusual to me is appealing :D

So there goes the stuff that I have been thinking about getting. I am not sure which to get first or if I should get them at all. What do you guys think?

Sigmax Face Kit Review

Here is my review of the Sigmax Face Kit. I forgot to mention that for the past months that I have been using these brushes, I haven't experienced any shedding yet. The only thing that I don't like much about the brushes, which I forgot to mention in the video is that they take a long time to dry when washed. Since it takes a long time for these brushes to dry up, I suggest you either purchase the Sigma Dry'n Shape with it or purchase a second brush which you can alternately use whenever you wash the brush.

The Day Spa Experience

It's been almost 2 months since I had my last facial treatment and moving to a new place where climate is unfamiliar to me caused me terrible breakouts. I haven't had skin issues before except for occasional pimple that appear on my face. I usually just get it one at a time at a rate of like once every 2 or 3 months. When I came to Minneapolis, I felt my adolescence period was delayed and had its peak this year haha! My skin was getting worse each day! Since I haven't had issues before, I am not aware of what I need to do to stop it.

I have been wanting to go to a dermatologist but being new to MN is not even helping. I've so many hesitations as well whether paying more or less $100 is worth it. Good thing my roomies Jan and Kat were also thinking about getting a facial treatment. Thanks for their effort in researching for a nearby spa we are able to get an appointment yesterday morning at The Day Spa in Edina :)

At first I have an impression that I am risking my money for the sake of discovering whether getting a facial in the US is all worth it. I am glad that I did it. The experience is so amazing. I'd say it is all worth it!

When we came in, their attendants are so accommodating and friendly. They instructed us to sit by the waiting room where we can have coffee or tea. Even when I never really enjoy coffee, I appreciate that they have this available for their guests.

Then our estheticians came to greet us and introduced themselves. My esthetician is Greta Mraz and she led me to my room to get changed for the session.

I really liked that they actually do treatments in a private room just like Clarity and House of Obagi, where I frequently go to, in Manila.

Greta took time to ask me where I want her to concentrate on and what my concerns are so she can customize the treatment based on my needs. Just like House of Obagi's facial treatment, The Day Spa does not only concentrate on the face but also the neck and chest which equally require care and maintenance. The entire experience was so relaxing. The room was properly lit and scented, and the ambient music was soothing.

With the facial, is a short neck, shoulders and arm massage which is so good! Honestly I was hoping the session won't end the entire time :D One thing unique that I experience in the facial is that Greta applied eye cream and lip conditioner on me. I never get that in any spa that I've been to so it is a big plus. :) My skin feel so supple and in perfect makeup ready condition too after the session.

After my treatment, Greta escorted me back to the reception and even handed me a cup of water. How pampering isn't it? I LOVE IT! She was also kind enough to assist me in choosing the right product for my current skin condition. She suggested that I change my cleanser and toner, but she said to continue using my Origins moisturizer and cream.

I spent, $110 ($85 service + $25 tip) for the treatment. I normally don't give more than 20% tip but I was very satisfied and happy with the service :)

Oh before I forget, they use the Clarisonic Cleansing System too with their facial! On the side note, having tried this convinced me even more to purchase this product! :)

Anyway, I would definitely go back to this place.. and the best part is, the spa is actually situated in the same park where I jog/walk during afternoons yay! :)

If any of you need Edina who are interested in trying out their services, check their website http://adayatthespa.com/ ^_^
